All clients are made aware of anything they'll need for their lesson before scheduling.
First hour due to book. Additional hours needed can be discussed if needed.

Photographers are not the only people who benefit from professional photo lessons. Moms, small business owners, and best buds can all benefit from learning to not only take better photos, but how to edit them without filters.
REQUIREMENTS:

Participants should have a fairly up to date mobile phone with a decent built in camera and built in editing software.

WHAT YOU'LL LEARN
What we focus on will be catered a bit to the overall group, but everyone can expect an improvement in the following areas:

Posing or product positioning (depending on the goal of the group)

more attractive photo angles

cleaner edits within your mobile device.
Individual photography lesson
$150 first lesson
Additional lessons: $100 hour lesson
Prefer a one on one lesson catered to you? This lesson is for you. Our first lesson is a 2 hour lesson that will focus on shooting in manual mode as this is often the solution to the many common issues new photographers face while photographing their subjects. In addition we will try to cover other questions as within the 2 hours. Additional lessons can then be booked at the $100 price, lasting up to an hour.
If you are already well acquainted with shooting in manual mode or wish to focus on something else entirely, please let me know when inquiring so that we can discuss whether or not the 2 hour required lesson is necessary for you.
REQUIREMENTS:
What you'll need for this meet is highly dependent upon what you hope to focus on during our time together.
This lesson is for you, so when you inquire I'll let you know exactly what you'll need based on your specific desires.
That said, you may be asked to bring the following:

Whatever device you currently use to take photos. For most this will be a digital camera.

Your camera lenses.

you are welcome to bring a patient model to practice with, but during a first lesson there may be a more pauses for instruction.
WHAT YOU'LL LEARN
The first lesson will ensure you know how to use your camera to get desired results. you camera cannot understand what you hope to achieve so you must know how to set it up for the results you need. You will learn to do this resulting in sharper images, ability to capture things in movement, ability to photograph in darker settings where flash is not permitted, knowledge of what is needed for blurrier backgrounds, and how to improve the color of the overall images you take.
Beyond the first lesson you may be interested to book a lesson for editing, posing, or additional review and practice.
Tag along 1 hour
$175 per hour
Ever wonder how another professional photographer would have handled a photoshoot differently? Ask me to tag along on one of your scheduled photoshoots for where I can provide some fresh perspectives and direction for overall improvement. This is not for the faint of hearts. Before booking a tag along, be sure you are ready to hear the most honest feedback throughout your shoot.
REQUIREMENTS:
Please make your client is aware that I will be tagging along and chiming in throughout the photoshoot. your client should be prepared for potential moments of instruction.

Ask me anything photography related, included questions about my past senior photography business, and I'll answer honestly. To be clear, some lessons are best in person, but for questions that can be answered without hands on assistance (like learning how to use your camera), you might enjoy this casual style conservation. We can chat via phone, video chat, or, if local, we can meet for coffee.
Image Critique

Did you know that I owe A LOT of where I am today to those who were willing to offer me honest critiques and advice on my images. Receiving blunt feedback isn't for the faint of hearts, but if you're serious about stepping up your game, this is a game changer.
You can join a Facebook group that will claim to do this for free, but for actual advice from a real professional, this is worth the investment.
Live critique allows you the opportunity to ask questions during your appointment as well as clarification as needed via a video or phone chat.
Written critiques will include a well thought out critique delivered via PDF document. This option does not include further conversation about images.
